Welcome Eavan Davis

In July 2023, Eavan Davis (she/her) joined the William H. Hannon Library’s team as the new Circulation Account Services Supervisor. In this role, she provides customer service at the Circulation Desk, assists in training and provides support for our student employees, handles library patron accounts, reviews and maintains patron registration records, and processes equipment inventories.

Eavan was born and raised in Covington, Georgia; a city known only to locals and dedicated fans of “The Vampire Diaries.” She lived there with her parents and older sister until she graduated high school. For college, she moved to another small town – Milledgeville, Georgia – where she graduated with a B.S. in psychology and a double minor in philosophy and gender studies from Georgia College & State University.

Eavan got her first library job in college. She spent two years working as a circulation assistant at the Milledgeville Public Library. The experience left her with a deeper appreciation for the importance and function of a library within a community as well as a passion for providing helpful service and accessible resources.

After graduating in 2021, Eavan moved to L.A. with her parents and dog. She spent a year acclimating and exploring the city before getting a job as a circulation clerk at the Otis College of Art and Design library. Another year later she landed here at LMU as the Circulation Account Services Supervisor. Eavan is excited to continue her journey working in collegiate libraries at LMU, both for its mission for education and the beautiful campus.

Chloe is a good girl

Outside of work, Eavan enjoys playing with her dog (Chloe), shopping with friends (anywhere, for anything), watching YouTube (Watcher) and reading (fantasy). She also dabbles in finding cute cafés (Moon Mountain Coffee) and hiking (when the mood strikes her).

Welcome, Eavan!
