Careers in Information Science: Panel and Networking Event

This event will be an opportunity for both LMU undergraduates and local MLIS/iSchool graduate students to hear from a panel of information professionals from a variety of backgrounds (including librarians and archivists with academic, public, medical, and corporate experience).

On the panel is Amy Chatfield, medical librarian at USC’s Norris Medical Library, Javier Garibay, Librarain-in-Residence at LMU, Lauren Zuchowski Longwell, Special Collections and University Archivist at LMU, and Joanna Perez, Librarian/Archivist, Blizzard Entertainment. Following the panel will be a Q&A and opportunity to network with local MLIS graduate students, librarians, and archivists.

The event will be held in the library’s Von der Ahe Family Suite (level 3) on April 18 at 5:30 p.m. Light refreshments (food and wine) will be served.
