We won’t take a stand on whether the book or the film did it better, but we will make it possible for you to decide. Our EXPLORE “Staff Picks” exhibit this summer features titles that were made into films (or are scheduled to be made into films). This staff-curated collection includes notable book-film combinations such as The Circle by Dave Eggers, Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen, Ophelia by Lisa M. Klein, and more!
As an extra bonus, if you check out a book from the exhibit, we’ll give you some snackage to go with it. Let the staff member at the Circulation Desk know that you’re checking out a book from the EXPLORE exhibit, and they will give you a free bag of Skinny Popcorn (while supplies last). Our summer break is half-way over but there is still time to get in one last leisurely read!
