The conclusion of the Spring semester brings an end to two important sources of inspiration for us here at the William H. Hannon Library: the steady foot-traffic of students and the daily delivery of a stack of New York Times. Perhaps you haven’t noticed before, but there is always a bundle of today’s New York Times stacked outside the library’s entrance. These are free to all our students, staff, and faculty. Unfortunately, they are only available during the Fall and Spring semesters, but have no fear.
You can still access the latest issue of the New York Times electronically through Proquest’s US Major Dailies database [myLMU login required]. From here, you can search or browse the most recent editions of the following newspapers:
- Chicago Tribune
- Los Angeles Times
- New York Times
- Wall Street Journal
- Washington Post
Of course, we also get 1-2 print copies of each of these titles. Those are available at the Circulation Desk.
