One of the library’s primary e-book vendors is changing. The e-book platform ebrary is getting an upgrade and will be rebranded as ProQuest Ebook Central. There are three things you need to know about the updated platform:

  1. When is it happening? The upgrade will happen over the course of two dates, May 16 and 17, 2017.
  2. Will it affect my personal ebrary Bookshelf account? If you have saved items in a personal ebrary Bookshelf account, when you log in after the upgrade you will be prompted to merge it into an Ebook Central Bookshelf. Here’s a YouTube video you can watch about the new personal Bookshelf accounts: http://bit.ly/2pZT0ED
  3. Will I notice any other change? When you access e-books on the updated platform you will be prompted to sign in with your MyLMU credentials, even if you are on campus.
