We are delighted to welcome Neela Morari, our new Cataloging Intern in Archives and Special Collections, to the William H. Hannon Library staff. We asked Neela to share some information about herself and her role here at LMU.
Q: What drew you to the Cataloging Internship in the Department of Archives and Special Collections?
An opportunity to learn about the history of books and gain cataloging experience at the same time.
Q: What has been your favorite thing about your internship so far?
Every book I’ve cataloged so far is different in some way. Keeps my work interesting.
Q: How do you think your internship will help you with your future goals?
I am learning a lot about cataloging. As I hope to work as a cataloger, I am gaining valuable experience with this internship.
Q: What is the last show you watched on TV?
An episode of “Friends” on Netflix.
Q: What is something about you that would surprise us to learn?
I completed my K-12 education in Africa, my Bachelor’s degree in the United Kingdom and will soon complete my MLIS here in the States.
Q: What is your favorite quote from a book or movie (or a book that was made into a movie)?
